The base view is often the best view to illustrate a sideways deflection of the nose.  If you were to put your finger on his nose where it starts between his eyes and run your finger down the length of his nose, your finger would be quite far off to his left by the time you got to the tip.

The broken cartilages that are dragging his dorsum off to the left also drag the base of his nose and his nostrils off to the left in the before picture.

Questioner: Non-surgical Nose Job Procedures to Reduce Nose Size?
Are there any non-surgical procedures to make my nose smaller, or is surgery my only option?
(Questioner submitted photos)

Dr. Denenberg's answer: Nasal Reduction
Unfortunately, nasal reductioncannot be accomplished without surgical intervention. Nonsurgical rhinoplastyutilizes injectable fillers to correct nasal contour irregularities. Yourparticular deformity will require surgical rhinoplasty and consultation with aboard-certified plastic surgeon.
