This patient's improvement is typical of a face lift.  See the little bulge of skin along the edge of her jaw, just to the right (her left) of her chin?  That's a jowl, and it's the main target of the face lift operation.  Moving the skin up and back along the jaw line reduces the bulging of the jowl.
