FAQ: What's your favorite technique for lip augmentation?I currently use only injectable collagen for lip augmentation. Many other techniques are available, such as implanting various materials into the lips. Other surgeons make a long incision just above the lip, remove some skin, and the pink part of the lip is pulled up and elongated as the incision is closed. In my opinion, though, those techniques leave the lips looking a little (or a lot) unnatural, and I'm waiting for something better to come along. The injectable collagen has the advantage of looking quite natural, but its big disadvantage is that the results only last for about six weeks. |
