This nasal hump is of slightly more than average size.  I had a patient several years ago who had an extremely large hump removed.  When I saw her three weeks after surgery, she told me that she had reached up to scratch an itch in the middle of her dorsum, but she missed, and wound up scratching air, because she positioned her finger where she thought the nose should be to get at an itch right on the hump.  She had to get used to finding her new nose with her fingers.
