Wrinkles like these are hereditary, and a face lift would not help them at all.  The face lift can reposition sagging skin, such as the jowl you see along her jaw line in the before picture, but it cannot pull out wrinkles.

It takes a skin resurfacing procedure to help the wrinkles, and I believe the deep chemical peel is the best of the resurfacing options.  Aligning the photographic flashes so that the light runs along the surface of the skin, as we see here, is a good way to highlight the improvement in wrinkling.

Questioner: What Should I Do for a Nose That's Too Pointy AND Bulbous?
Hi there. I have been considering rhinoplasty for a few years. I am 23 and want a classic, feminine nose, maybe something like Natalie Portman's or Audrey Hepburn's. I think that I am pretty but I feel like my nose needs some enhancement--I think it's too bulbous when viewed from the front and too pointy from the side, and just too massive in general, though I don't think my nose is gigantic or anything. What should I do? Should I even bother getting one?

Dr. Denenberg's answer: You do have some nose features that can be improved with a rhinoplasty
From these photos, your nose doesn't have any one overwhelming feature, but there are a few areas that could be reduced a small amount.  You have a mild hump on your nose, the nose protrudes strongly forward away from your face, the tip cartilages make the tip look a little broad, and the upper part, where it's made of bone, might be a little wide. You have many beautiful features to your face, which help to hide the nose. When investigating surgery, be sure you look at a doctor's before and after photos, to see whether he has been able to accomplish for someone else what you would like for yourself.
