This woman had a brow lifting operation.  The incisions were hidden up in her hair, and the skin of the forehead and eyebrows was pulled up.  She appears to be scowling in the before picture because when you scowl, you lower your eyebrows.  She's not scowling, though; her face is at rest in both the before and after pictures.

Questioner: I am wanting Rhinoplasty as I hate the length of my nose and my wide bridge too! Any suggestions?
Is there anyway I can find out what would nose would suit my face etc - like having a video image first!?
(Questioner submitted photos)

Dr. Denenberg's answer: Your nose is strong in its forward projection
Image? Sure. Check out the Web reference link below. I made a morph of your profile.

I brought the tip of your nose substantially closer to your face, and elevated the tip, too: when the nose comes back closer to the face, it usually *looks* longer, and you have to raise the tip so it doesn't look too long after surgery.

Note, also, that I reduced your nose up where it begins, just beneath your eyebrows. It's important to address that area, so you don't look like a Roman statue after surgery.

These changes are all fairly predictable to accomplish, but only in truly expert hands. Be sure you see lots of a doctor's before and after photos before hiring someone to do your rhinoplasty.
