A couple more points about selecting your surgeon:
1) It is mandatory that you see before and after photos before deciding on a surgeon. The rhinoplasty operations are the most difficult procedures a plastic surgeon performs. Every surgeon performs them with different levels of skill. You need to see that your doctor has been able to accomplish for other people what you want for yourself. Certificates and board certifications won't tell you that -- photos will.
2) Computer imaging is important. It allows you to see what the doctor has in mind, so you can tell him if you don't think he understands your goals accurately.
