Preparing Photographs
The photographs that you see on
FacialSurgery.com have not been retouched.
In preparing the photographs for
presentation online, they are scanned, cropped, and re-sized. The
colors are adjusted if the photos are, for example, too green or too
red. Colors and brightness are also adjusted so that the before
picture looks similar to the after picture, even though the pictures may
have been taken months or years apart in time.
Dirt and dust marks that remain on the
digital photographs are cleaned, and occasionally Dr. Denenberg may remove
an embarrassing zit from someone's cheek.
But none of these alterations is
classified as retouching. No changes are made that would alter the
results of the operations performed.
