When you click on the "Medium" or "Large" button underneath a photograph, you will see that photograph enlarged, and also, where available, different views of the same patient.
.
This patient had a hump along the bridge of her
nose. Removing the hump draws attention away from the nose.
You may click here if you wish to see a series of patients all of whom had a hump along the bridge as the most prominent feature corrected during the rhinoplasty.
.
If the cartilages at the tip of the nose are
large, it makes it look as if there were a ball on the end of the
nose.
You may click here if you wish to see a series of patients, all of whom had a large tip as the most prominent feature corrected during the rhinoplasty.
.
This nose was very long. The "length"
of a nose is the distance from where the nose starts, between the
eyes, down along the bridge of the nose to the tip.
You may click here if you wish to see a series of patients, all of whom had a long nose as the most prominent feature corrected during the rhinoplasty.
.
This patient had a combination of the problems
we see in the three photographs above. She had a hump along the
bridge, and a ball on the tip, and a long nose. Many problems can
be corrected at the same time during a rhinoplasty.
You may click here if you wish to see a series of patients, all of whom had large noses, with a combination of problems that had to be addressed during the rhinoplasty.
.
This patient had her nose operated on elsewhere,
before coming to Dr. Denenberg. Unfortunately, most
plastic surgeons are not expert at rhinoplasty, and about 30% of
Dr. Denenberg's rhinoplasties involve correcting errors that were
done somewhere else. She had bumps and irregularities along the
bridge of her nose after the first operation, which were
corrected in the revision operation at Dr. Denenberg's office.
You may click here if you wish to see a series of patients, all of whom had had previous surgery on the nose before coming to Dr. Denenberg for correction.
.
This patient had a chin augmentation at the
same time as her rhinoplasty. Strengthening a weak chin puts the
profile in better balance, and often helps the results of the
rhinoplasty quite dramatically.
You may click here if you wish to see a series of patients, all of whom had a chin augmentation at the same time as the rhinoplasty.
.
This patient had an accident. She fell against a
jungle gym, and broke her nose, pushing it close to her face. The
nose was reconstructed to a more normal appearance. Most of the
time, nasal deformities that resulted from an accident or a
broken nose can be corrected.
You may click here if you wish to see a series of patients, all of whom required nasal reconstruction to improve the appearance of the nose.
