Many materials are available for an augmentation such as this, including artificial materials and even the patient's own cartilage.  On this patient I used a material that is soft and almost cloth-like, because soft materials don't show a sharp edge under the skin like grafted cartilage can, and the softer materials can sometimes be shaped more precisely.
