The profile views don't show the width of the tip as much as the oblique
views do. That is one reason I am constantly cautioning people, when they
are looking at before and after pictures at a consultation with a plastic
surgeon, to look at the oblique views and not at the profile
views: the oblique views are much, much more difficult to get right in a
rhinoplasty.
