From the side, it's more difficult to see width of the tip, but you can see that those prominent cartilages projected out away from her face, causing the tip of the nose to appear to stick out beyond the line of her dorsum.  While narrowing the cartilages, I brought the tip of her nose closer to the face, aligning it better with the rest of her dorsum.

Questioner: What would be involved in Rhinoplasty 2nd revision on nose tip? Do I have Melasma or Freckles on my upper lip/ mouth?
Hello, I had rhinoplasty in August 2013 and a revision in September 2014. My nose is now asymmetrical in the tip and I'm just wanting to know what exactly would be involved in a second revision to have this fixed? Also if anyone could tell me, if I have Melasma or Freckles on my upper lip/around my mouth? Thank-you for your help in advance :)

Dr. Denenberg's answer: Another revision should address more than just the asymmetry of your tip
Hi,
I see the asymmetry of your tip, but the asymmetry is small, and small asymmetries are very difficult to correct. However, usually when there is an asymmetry like that, some of the other views show other problems that can be corrected during a revision operation. Can you post profile and three-quarter views? You might get some useful comments.
