When a plastic surgeon is evaluating a patient's upper eyelid area, it's
crucial that he determine whether the eyebrows are in a normal position, so that
he can decide whether elevating the brows or removing excess skin from the upper
eyelids is the correct operation.
If you tried to remove excess skin from these upper lids, and left the brows
where they are, she would look worse, not better, after surgery.
